Where should Canadians compare and book an all-inclusive?

Start with ResortFinder to understand and compare all-inclusive resorts. Profiles bring together available resort facts, menus, photos and guest-review insights, so you can weigh the food, beach, room choices and family facilities without assembling the research from scratch.

Once you have two suitable resorts, check Canadian packages on resortfinder.ca or ask an advisor to compare the exact trip. Our research and advisor help are free. You can also check the same itinerary with another seller or the tour operator.

ResortFinder brings research, comparisons and package access into one place. Here is how its tools sit alongside two Canadian booking sites. Resort content varies, and each site may offer more than the tools shown here.

What does ResortFinder add before you book?

Look at the available menus, beach and room details, guest-review insights and the differences between your finalists. ResortFinder brings that research together to help you decide where you want to stay.

Once your shortlist feels right, compare the exact room, flights and final package total. You can also check supplier sites such as Air Canada Vacations or WestJet Vacations, Costco Travel Canada’s member packages, or the combined cost of booking flights and hotel separately.

Choose two suitable resorts before chasing the lowest price

Write down what would make the trip work: beach swimming, food, a quiet setting, children’s facilities, room layout or a particular dining experience. Use profiles and side-by-side comparisons to narrow the options, then check prices for the resorts that fit.

Read the exact room and restaurant privileges before shortlisting an upgrade. The cheapest room shown for a resort may not include the private restaurant, pool area or room feature that made you want to stay there.

Will I pay extra for ResortFinder research or advisor help?

No. ResortFinder is free to research and compare resorts, and there is no charge to request a quote or get advisor help. We may earn a supplier commission when you book through us; we do not add a ResortFinder markup.

You pay for the holiday and any extras you choose. Compare the written quote or checkout total for the actual room, flights and travellers. Free research is not a promise that every seller will quote the same final amount.

Will two Canadian sellers quote the same price?

Not necessarily. Many Canadian sellers offer holidays from the same tour operators, so you may see familiar packages on more than one site. That does not mean the flights, room, inclusions or final total match.

Compare the operator, flights, exact room, inclusions, conditions and final amount for your whole party. A matching resort name or headline price is not enough.

How do I compare packages from Edmonton, Calgary or Toronto?

Set one departure airport before comparing sellers. Use the same dates or the same clearly defined date window, number of nights, travellers and children’s ages at travel. Available routes and package choices depend on your dates; a departure-city label does not establish a nonstop flight.

If another airport produces a lower quote, make it a separate comparison with the cost and time of reaching that airport included.

Keep the departure airport and travel day explicit
DepartureStart withWhat can change the decision
Edmonton (YEG)Compare YEG quotes for the same resort, room and nights.Check connections and local flight times. If considering Calgary instead, add the cost and time of getting there.
Calgary (YYC)Keep YYC fixed while checking sellers or alternative dates.Compare nonstop and connecting itineraries separately; check the time available at the resort on arrival and departure days.
Toronto Pearson (YYZ)Match the actual airport code on each quote. If another Toronto-area airport is offered, identify it and include the ground journey rather than treating it as the same departure.

What belongs in a fair package comparison?

Keep a short written comparison for each finalist. If an item differs, decide whether that difference is worth the saving before calling one quote cheaper.

Copy this checklist into your quote comparison
ItemRecord for every quote
Dates and occupantsDeparture and return dates, hotel nights, adults, rooms and each child’s age at travel.
FlightsDeparture airport, operating airline, connections and local arrival/return times.
Room and meal planExact room name, bed setup, view, occupancy and any club or restaurant entitlements.
Bags and seatsThe baggage included and any seat-selection costs you intend to pay.
Airport transfersWhether transfers are included, shared or private, and the cost if excluded.
Final totalCurrency and the amount payable for everyone travelling, including applicable taxes, fees and chosen extras.
Payment and changesDeposit, balance due date, change/cancellation conditions and who handles support.

A lower headline price can produce a higher trip total

Illustration only: these are invented amounts, not current offers. Assume the same flights, resort, room and seven-night stay for two adults. Quote A is CAD 4,400, plus CAD 120 for bags and CAD 100 for transfers: CAD 4,620 total. Quote B is CAD 4,550 with those bags and transfers included. On those assumptions, B costs CAD 70 less.

Also compare the travel day and booking terms. A cheaper quote with a connection, fewer hotel nights or a different room is a different option; decide whether it suits you instead of treating the headline figures as equivalent.

What should I send a Canadian travel advisor?

Send your departure airport, dates and flexibility, nights, adults, rooms and children’s ages at travel. State whether the budget is per person or for the whole party. Include your two resort finalists, the room category you want and the details that would make a trip unsuitable.

Ask the advisor to verify current price, availability, room and bed setup, restaurant privileges, bags, transfers and supplier terms. Ask who the package supplier is, who takes payment and who helps if plans change. Keep the written quote and booking conditions.

Canadian bookings through ResortFinder are placed through The Travel Agent Next Door. Advisor help is free; the holiday and any selected extras are paid.

What websites help Canadians compare all-inclusive resorts before booking?

ResortFinder brings resort facts, available menus and photos, guest-review insights and side-by-side comparisons into one place. Use it to choose suitable resorts, then check Canadian packages or get free advisor help. You can compare the same itinerary with sellers such as tripcentral.ca or Escapes.ca and the relevant tour operator.

Does ResortFinder charge for research or add a booking markup?

Resort research, comparisons, quote requests and advisor help are free. We may earn a supplier commission when you book, and we do not add a ResortFinder markup. The holiday and selected extras are paid; confirm the final amount and booking conditions before paying.

Will two Canadian sellers show the same price for the same resort?

Not necessarily. The room, flights, inclusions and booking conditions may differ, even for the same resort and dates. Match those details and your travellers, then compare the final CAD amount for the whole party.

Can I use the same process for Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto departures?

Yes. Start with your actual airport—YEG, YYC or YYZ—and match dates, nights, occupants, flights and room across quotes. If you change airports, include the extra ground journey and any overnight cost in a separate comparison. Check current route and package availability for your dates.

Is the advertised per-person price the total for my booking?

Not necessarily. Check the occupancy assumptions and final payable amount. A per-person starting price is not the same as the total for your party, and extras may differ. Confirm the total for the actual adults, children, rooms, baggage and transfers you need.

Is it always cheaper to book the resort and flights separately?

Not necessarily. It depends on your dates, flights and room. Price the whole trip both ways, including flights, hotel and transfers, and read each seller’s terms.

Is ResortFinder always the cheapest place to book?

Not always. Prices vary by seller, date and room, so compare the final total for an equivalent trip. ResortFinder helps you choose a resort that fits and get advisor support with the details before you book.
