Why travelers love it

“Adults‑only hillside boutique resort with private cottages and sweeping sea views”

Guests regularly praise the stunning hillside location between two white‑sand beaches with turquoise water, private rustic cottages with outdoor showers, and the intimate, peaceful atmosphere without TVs or crowds.

Food & drink

Standout

À la carte dining with fresh, homemade quality and no reservations required, consistently called the best all-inclusive food guests have had. Kitchen accommodates allergies, gluten-free, and picky eaters without fuss.

Dining overview

One open‑air hillside restaurant serving a‑la‑carte breakfast, lunch and dinner with changing menus; plus beach bar grill options

Beach

Standout

Set between two picture-perfect beaches with coral sand and calm turquoise water, both feeling private despite Antigua's public-beach law. A beachside grill and bars round out the experience.

Detailed beach reporting coming soon.

Pools

Strong

The main draw is the private plunge and infinity pools attached to sunset and bay-view cottages, which most guests prefer over the communal pool. Many skip the shared pool entirely in favor of the beach.

Editorial pool rating

The resort has a main public pool. Additionally, several cottage types, such as the Sunset Pool, Beach Front Pool, and Bay View Pool Cottages, feature private infinity plunge pools.

Rooms & suites

Standalone wooden cottages (about 30–35) with private balconies, hammocks, Adirondack chairs, king‑size canopy beds with mosquito nets, outdoor showers; select cottages include private plunge or infinity pools

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Strong

Pricey but repeatedly called worth it, with barefoot-luxury cottages, à la carte dining, and service that punches above the room rate. A more affordable path to a private, upscale Caribbean honeymoon than the big-name adults-only brands.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Ideal

A hillside honeymoon and anniversary favorite where private cottages, plunge pools, and outdoor showers overlook the bay. Adults-only calm and staff who learn your names make it a romance headliner.

Families

Not a fit

An adults-oriented boutique with steep terrain and no kids programming; occasional family visits happen but this is not built for children.

Peace & Quiet

Standout

One of the calmest properties in Antigua: small scale, no loud entertainment, and uncrowded beaches. The occasional catamaran or jet ski passing offshore is the loudest thing you'll hear.

Includes spa/wellness cottage, complimentary kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling gear, cooking and yoga classes, steel‑pan music nights, romantic beach dinners, weddings license

Full-service spa

“I cannot say enough about cocos hotel. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and our stay couldn’t have been better. Views are amazing, staff was so friendly and on top of everything. Food was amazing. We even had our flight delayed over 20 hours and we called cocos to see if they had a room available for one night so we wouldn’t be stranded at the airport, this was at 9pm and they got us private transportation back to the resort that night and were so great about it. We can’t thank...”

“One of the most beautiful places to visit. Its my second time to Antigua. The rest was amazing and the people and atmosphere were stellar. We had a room with a pool that was on the side of a slight cliff overlooking the ocean. SUBLIME!!! You must must must go to COCOs and become one of the family. They do have young working cats and trust me dont worry if you are allergic they DO NOT bother you. People that say anything about them are RIDICULOUS and high maintenance. They serve a purpose...”

Know before you book

Not for:families
  • Steep walk or many steps to cottages - not ideal for limited mobility
  • Some visible wear and tear described as rustic rather than modern
  • Limited beach shade in afternoon
  • Occasional drug soliciting on the public beach

What you should know

What to Know

This is a hillside property with serious inclines and stairs, so mobility and fitness matter. Embrace the rustic, barefoot-luxury concept: charming cottages, not a polished mega-resort.

Good to know

  • Bring earplugs for night noise from frogs/bugs
  • Reasonable fitness helps due to steep terrain
  • Beach dinners and spa cost extra
