Why travelers love it
“All‑inclusive beachfront resort in Punta Cana with family and adults‑only sections”
Guests appreciate its beachfront location and separate family and Colonial Club adult sections. The mix allows families to relax while adults enjoy quieter areas. The expansive facilities and attentive staff also earn praise.
Food & drink
StrongFood is a genuine strength: varied buffets, fresh grills, and standout à la carte spots like Taino and the Gourmet restaurant keep a week interesting. Not every venue lands (Rodeo Grill draws shrugs), but you'll never struggle to find a good plate.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Taino and Gourmet restaurants are highlights
- Buffet variety covers most dietary needs
- Fresh grill and sushi options
- Beach restaurant is a repeat favorite
Heads up
- Rodeo Grill is average
- Beach buffet menu repeats daily
Dining details coming soon.
Beach
StandoutThe beach is the resort's headline: wide, soft, cleaned every morning, and stocked with Bally Beds and loungers you can actually get. Water and views live up to the Punta Cana promise.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Cleaned first thing every morning
- Plenty of loungers and Bally Beds
- Easy to walk, well-maintained sand
- Beach bar and beachfront restaurant on site
Heads up

- Tipping expected for faster beach bar service
Detailed beach reporting coming soon.
Pools
StandoutA long, connected pool system runs through the property with swim-up bars, swim-out rooms, and in-pool activities like foam parties and aerobics. Big enough for a quiet corner or a party section, your choice.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Swim-out rooms with direct pool access
- Active swim-up bar scene
- In-pool foam parties and water aerobics
- Attentive pool attendants keep areas tidy
Heads up
- Some pool tile showing pre-renovation wear
Detailed pool reporting coming soon.
Rooms & suites
658 rooms658 rooms divided into main family section and Colonial Club adult‑only section. Rooms include minibar, jetted tub, walk‑in shower, balcony or terrace; some suites include indoor or outdoor jacuzzi.
Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.
What’s included
StrongFor a mid-tier Punta Cana all-inclusive, the beach, pools, food, and butler service punch above the price, especially on the Club side. Dated rooms are the honest asterisk until the renovation reopens.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Butler service included on Club side
- Beach and pool quality above price point
- Repeat guests booking multiple years running
- Room upgrades often granted at check-in
Heads up
- Rooms feel dated and worn pre-renovation
- Occasional overbooking causing room downgrades
- Better liquor requires asking
Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.
Amenities & activities
Couples
IdealThe adults-only Club side is a legitimate honeymoon and anniversary pick, with attentive butlers, swim-up rooms, and romantic touches like flower petals and balloons. Couples repeatedly return and rebook.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Adults-only Club section with butler service
- Swim-out rooms with private lounger access
- Honeymoon and anniversary touches from butlers
- Romantic gardens and tropical ambience
Heads up
- Spring break weeks bring rowdy 18+ crowds into Club
- Rooms feel dated pending renovation
Families
StretchThe family side works for multigenerational groups and even babies, with pools, activities, and welcoming staff, but dated rooms and beach vendor pressure hold it back from a full endorsement. One family with a toddler had a great time; another walked away not recommending it for kids.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Swim-up rooms work well with young kids
- Daily activities like water aerobics and foam parties
- Multigenerational groups feel at home
- Butlers handle bookings for larger family groups
Heads up
- Beach vendors with parrots and reptiles pester kids
- Rooms are tired and awaiting renovation
- Spring break noise reaches family areas
Peace & Quiet
StrongMost of the year the vibe is relaxed with a light evening entertainment scene, but late March and early April bring American spring breakers who yell through hallways at 1 to 3 a.m. Time your trip and you'll find genuine calm.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Peaceful most of the year with mixed-age crowd
- Large pools have quiet corners
- Beach beds and loungers rarely feel crowded
- Evening shows are low-key, not thumping
Heads up
- Spring break weeks are loud all night
- 18+ Club policy lets college kids in
- Nightly shows described as just okay

What past guests say
“Rating 4 for service because the waiters at the steakhouse were very poor. They practically ignored our table. We loved the fish restaurant. We ate there more than once. The breakfast and lunch buffet at the main restaurant was excellent. And one day someone smoked in our room and the smell wouldn't go away, and we can't stand cigarettes.”

“This is a great hotel with nice beach, we have been there twice. One star off for food - while we appreciate good fruits offering, the food at main buffet and the beach restaurant are not impressive and on par with lower rated hotels in PC. Desserts are horrible, decorated with bright colored “creams” with artificial food dyes - lots of room for improvement in the desserts area. The hotel is now under refurbishment and we plan to go back in January. We do hope the food will improve… And...”
