Why travelers love it
“Modern family suites along Cabo's longest lazy river”
This newer Villa Group property is built around large, apartment-style suites and a winding lazy river that's a hit with kids. Cleanliness and room quality earn especially strong marks from guests, though some find the all-inclusive pricing on the higher side for what's offered.
Food & drink
StrongMultiple restaurants deliver genuinely strong meals, with the steakhouse Latitud, Italian, and El Patron's breakfast buffet drawing the loudest praise. Skip the all-inclusive plan and à la carte prices climb fast, and a few guests found the buffet ordinary.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Latitud steakhouse a repeat favorite
- In-suite private chef experience is a highlight
- Variety across Italian, Mexican, steakhouse
- Cooking classes with Chef Rene
Heads up
- À la carte prices steep without meal plan
- Buffet underwhelms some palates
- Cocktail mixers overly sweet
Dining overview
Multiple on-site restaurants and bars are included in the all-inclusive plan, along with a coffee shop and 24-hour room service. Specific venue names aren't reliably documented in available sources, so confirm current outlets with the resort before booking.

Beach
WeakThe setting on the sand is beautiful, but the ocean out front is not swimmable due to rip tides and rough waves. Come for the views and long walks, not for wading in.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Dramatic ocean backdrop
- Long stretch to walk
- Easy beach access from property
Heads up
- No ocean swimming allowed out front
- Strong waves and rip currents
- Must walk down beach to find swim-friendly spots
The resort sits on a long stretch of sand along the Tourist Corridor between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. As with much of this coastline, the surf can be rough and swimming in the ocean is often not advised — most guests stick to the pools.

Pools
StandoutThe lazy river is the signature, backed by an infinity pool, adults-only section, hot tubs, and cabanas that come with white-glove service when you book right. Occasional service gaps on busy days are the only knock.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Signature lazy river
- Infinity pool with ocean view
- Adults-only pool area
- Cabana concierges Adrian and Ester deliver standout service
Heads up
- Poolside service can lag when busy
The pool scene is a key selling point, anchored by an infinity pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez, a winding lazy river billed as the longest in Cabo, and a separate adults-only pool. There's also a dedicated kids' pool with shallow areas.

- Timeshare-member discounts stretch the spend
Heads up
- À la carte food and drink prices exorbitant

What past guests say
“Beautiful hotel just be careful when you check in they try to sell you a tour of the hotel and ask for a deposit of $20 and also offer you 50%off a massage. Once agreed you meet them the next day for breakfast morning nothing fancy just eggs and bacon then they waste 2hrs or more of your vacation just to hope you sign a 200k contract for 30yrs they say it isn't a timeshare but sure smells like one the young lady that I said no she got upset and threatened me by reminding me I was in mexico....”

Location

What to Know
This is a Villa Group timeshare property, so expect a sales pitch tied to check-in and read your meal plan terms carefully. The beach is for looking, not swimming, and small nickel-and-dime surprises (water, kids club, coffee replenishment) catch some guests off guard.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Suites include full kitchens and laundry
- Easy to find right off the highway
- Wristband room keys
- Book cabanas directly with pool concierges
Heads up
- Timeshare presentation pressure at check-in
- Kids club charges a fee
- Meal plan cutoff times not always communicated
- Reservation department communication inconsistent
WATCH OUT: Seasonal heads-up
- Strong surf and undertow year-round on the Pacific-influenced corridor beaches
- Hurricane season runs June through November, with peak risk August–October
- Whale-watching season (December–April) is a major draw for visitors
The resort is roughly a 30-minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) along the Transpeninsular Highway. Tipping in USD or pesos is customary even on an all-inclusive plan, and staff are bilingual in English and Spanish. Note this is part of the Villa Group's timeshare-affiliated portfolio, so be prepared to politely decline membership presentations.
Good to know
- Suites include kitchenettes, helpful for families and longer stays
- Ocean swimming is generally not safe here — plan to use the pools
- Lazy river and kids' club make it especially kid-friendly
- Property opened relatively recently, so finishes and rooms feel new
- Affiliated with the Villa Group; expect possible timeshare sales pitches
